| To
Alumni of the Blue Band,
All members of the Alumni Blue Band are again invited to perform
with the Blue Band during the Blue-White Game on Saturday,
April 25th. Bring your instrument and join us for a good
time and lots of memorable music. Participation is FREE for members.
In the evening after the game all alumni and their guests are invited
to join us for an enjoyable evening at Bar Bleu (RSVP required;
see below).
This year, there will again be a tailgate
immediately following the game for current Blue Band members and
Alumni Blue Band members. This tailgate will be held across
the street from the Blue Band Building immediately following the
game and will feature light fare and non-alcoholic beverages. In
the event of rain, the tailgate will be held inside the Blue Band
building. We are hoping this will be a great chance for students
and alumni to mingle, so we would encourage all alumni who are available
to attend. We are looking forward to GREAT alumni participation
in this tailgate as well as the Bar Bleu senior sendoff.
On April 25th, you will have a chance to preview
the 2009 football team in action. Alums will wear a white
top and blue jeans to the game. The top can be a t-shirt,
ABBA white windbreaker jacket, or other white shirt. ABBA will be
in contrast to the Blue Band which will be in blue tops.
To ensure you can receive a music folder for
