Leading the Alumni Band...Other Giving

Support the New Blue Band Building by Donating to the Alumni Blue Band Association's Staff Assistant's Office Fundraising Campaign.

In October 2004 the Blue Band launched into a new era by dedicating 101 Blue Band Building. This is the first permanent home that includes all aspects of Blue Band operations encompassing administration, rehearsal, storage, and locker facilities. Also, it's a new home for Alumni Blue Band Association board meetings as well as events and performance staging, including our marquee Homecoming activities.

The ABBA has pledged $25,000 to the cost of building the Blue Band Staff Assistant's Office, an amount established by Penn State University officials for the room. This is a premier area of the building at the main entrance used by all university officials, Blue Band administration, and visitors. The donation to the building fund gives us naming authority. This area is officially known as the Staff Assistant's Office Given by Alumni Blue Band Association.

Currently, we are over 55% toward our goal of raising $25,000. We have participation from over 100 ABBA members and friends and would like to expand participation in this important campaign. Please consider donating to the ABBA to help us reach our goal. We welcome donations of all sizes from anyone.
